Among these is @thesweetwatercoffeehouse , which is a delightful coffee house with yummy baked goods, handmade pottery, and of course, some great coffee. We have to stop in every time we pass by, and we think you should give them a shot as well! Some of our favorites are the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits paired with one of the seasonal coffees. While Wander was officially founded in 2015, 2016 was the year that we really started to see the vision of what could be. It was full of hikes, hangouts, and new friends along the way. We've come a long way from this little building, but our mission and values remain unchanged. If we’re continuing to inspire y’all to explore your local communities, notice the beauty in everyday moments, and leave each place better than you found it, we couldn’t ask for more....     Looking to pack in the most that you can in a shor Looking to pack in the most that you can in a short hike? This is the Angel Falls trail in Lakemont, This beautiful 1.75 mile trail winds its way up a gentle slope following Joe Creek. There are several small cascades along the way and no shortage of fantastic scenery. It won't be long before you reach the first of two waterfalls on this journey. The first falls you find is Panther Falls, not to be mistaken with nearby Panther Creek Falls, which is a much longer and more strenuous hike. Panther Falls is a stair-step cascade with several levels and a small shallow pool at the base. There is plenty of room at the base of the falls to hang out for a minute and take in the sights. If you're up for more, the trail continues uphill to reach Angel Falls. Angel Falls is about 90 feet tall and drops down a very narrow chute bordered by rhododendron. Both of the waterfalls on this hike are heavily reliant on water levels to be viewed at their best; we highly recommend visiting after a good rain if you'd like to see them nice and full! #northgeorgia #appalachia #wandernorthga #georgia #claytonga
