    If you're anything like us, you couldn't be more e If you're anything like us, you couldn't be more excited that Fall is right around the corner. One of our favorite fall activities has to be picking out pumpkins with the family. A couple of years ago, we stopped by @burtsfarm and it's become something of a tradition since! We never really thought we'd be overwhelmed by picking out pumpkins, but we couldn't even begin to guess how many there are to choose from at Burt's Pumpkin Farm! Easily thousands of pumpkins from over 20 different varieties, along with ornamental corn and winter squash. The family has been growing pumpkins on this patch of land since 1972, but the roots of the land run all the way back to the 1800's. We highly recommend making the drive over to Dawsonville to find your family's pumpkins and grab some baked goods or decor from the country store. The always impressive Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge is right up the road as well and is a stunning sight in the autumn colors, so it's a perfect combo day trip for the family! This great shop is a blend of gifts, handcrafted goods, clothing, and just about everything else.
