We spent forever asking for rain and now we're wondering if it's ever gonna stop.

Word on the street is that @jaemorfarms has U-Pick peaches coming in now! We know that the first official day of summer is still a couple of weeks out, but the start of peach season always gets us in the summer mood. And there's not much of a better way to kick it off than a peach milkshake if you ask us.

Who in north Georgia makes your favorite milkshake? We've got a couple of favorites like @main.street.chocolates , @bluehoundbarbecue at Osage, and The Eatery at Jaemor, but let's hear yours! We need an excuse to try some others.

Hiking has always been one of our go-to activities for getting out when we need some time in nature and some exercise, but it’s important that we do this responsibly. This includes cleaning up after ourselves and others. When we leave behind waste and harmful materials we are polluting these environments that we love, ruining them for ourselves and those around us. In addition to the environmental impact, we also risk the closure of these protected areas. If we don’t take care of them now, they may not exist much longer. We always recommend carrying a trash bag for your outdoor adventures as you never know when you may need it. We always seem to generate more trash than we realize, and it's great to have somewhere to contain it. We all know the feeling of arriving at a campsite where the previous guests left a mess. You don’t want to be those people and we want to do what we can to clean up after those that do leave behind waste. If you’ve shopped with us in recent years, you know that we give out a reusable shopping bag with each purchase. We always have one of these bags tucked into our hiking pack for when we stumble across small garbage that we can pack out.
